Hello. My name is Celia.

​

     I was raised in Vermont and, of course, couldn't wait to grow up and go somewhere warmer. I made my way out to California, as far south as NYC and then NW to British Columbia...only to find myself returning, to raise my kids, be near family, and call these beautiful mountains home.

​

     Over the last few decades, whether working in the service or garment industries, as a carpenter, school bus driver, labor doula or housekeeper, I've always loved baking treats for holiday gift baskets. ...awhile back, my sister said, while crunching on a cookie, "You should sell this stuff, Cel."...and that was it...birthday cakes for family, friends and folks in the community, filling orders for holiday pies, cheesecakes and cookie platters ...and the word got out.

     Now, in my 50s, a mother of three lovely boys (and men), ranging in age from 6-25, I am totally in, self-taught and baking, with the health of our bodies and earth as top priority. My wish is for every one of us, regardless of diet, whether by choice or necessity, to enjoy the most delicious and nourishing of foods.

​

     I have tweaked my favorite recipes and found the best balance, so whatever your preferences, from rich, buttery and intense to light and delicate, fresh and fruity, I look forward to creating for you.
